    Week 124 update of the Cycling Monks Strava Group. Week ending 16th October 2022.

    Club Stats. 2472 members collectively rode 106067 km in 3122 rides, climbing 570565 metres in 5004 hours!

    The number of members are up by 18 as compared to last week. The week saw everyone collectively ride less. With total distance, elevation gained, number of rides and time spent on the saddle were all down.

    To be in the top 100, you needed to ride minimum 276 km during the week!

    There were 16 who averaged more than 100 km a day!

    5 rode 1000s, 7 rode 600s, 32 rode at least a 200.

    56 averaged above 30 kmph for the week. 26 climbed more than 4000 metres… Incredible riding by everyone.

    Kudos to all the riders who have been working hard on their saddles…

    Leaderboard: Overall

    16 riders averaged more than 100 km a day.

    Anand from Karnataka was top of the charts. He rode an incredible 1235 km.

    In second place is Prathap Pandian from Tamil Nadu who rode 1073 km in the week.

    Third spot is taken by Sanjaykanth N from Karnataka. He rode 1042 km.

    Leaderboard: Women

    The women’s leaderboard has gotten easier this week. To be in the top 10, you needed to ride just 158+ km…

    Miruthula Gopu from Tamil Nadu was top of the charts this week. Riding an incredible 433 km. She is 33rd overall.

    Next up is Jui Inamdar from Maharashtra. Who rode an impressive 354 km. She is 53rdh overall.

    Third is Vaishali Pawar from Maharashtra who rode 281 km. She is 95th overall.

    There are 6 women in the top 100 this week, 3 less than last week.

    Leaderboard: Longest Ride

    Some long rides coming in from around the country!

    Top spot goes to Sanjaykanth N from Karnataka for the longest ride. He did a 1013 km long ride!

    Next up is Murali Iyer from Karnataka having done a 1012 km long ride.

    Third is Natesh Muthanna from Karnataka, who did a 1011 km long ride.

    Leaderboard: Fastest

    The top 56 have been riding at a seriously impressive pace. The top 2 switched positions!

    Fastest of the lot is  Mayank Tripathi from Canada who averaged an incredible 39.9 kmph over the week! He was second last week.

    Second fastest for the week is Ashwin Govindasamy from Tamil Nadu whose weekly average is a fantastic 38.3 kmph. He was first last week.

    Third is Rayhan Dastur from Tamil Nadu averaging 37.9 kmph over the week.

    Leaderboard: Queen/ King of the Mountain

    The climbing leaderboard went to Mizoram! As the top 2 switched places…

    Climber of the week is RJ Mesak from Mizoram having climbed 13253 metres. He was second last week.

    Second is Vivek Deshmukh from Maharashtra who climbed 8494 metres.

    Third is The Fit Biker from West Bengal, who climbed 7689 metres during the week.
