    Week 131 update of the Cycling Monks Strava Group. Week ending 4th December 2022.

    Club Stats. 2567 members collectively rode 115270 km in 3126 rides, climbing 634439 metres in 5300 hours!

    The number of members are up by 4 as compared to last week. The week saw everyone collectively ride less. With total distance, elevation gained, number of rides and time spent on the saddle were all down.

    To be in the top 100, you needed to ride minimum 294 km during the week!

    There were 13 who averaged more than 100 km a day!

    3 rode 1000s, 3 rode 600s, 12 rode 400s, 6 rode 300s and 51 rode at least a 200.

    50 averaged above 30 kmph for the week. 22 climbed more than 4000 metres… Incredible riding by everyone.

    Kudos to all the riders who have been working hard on their saddles…

    Leaderboard: Overall

    13 riders averaged more than 100 km a day. 4 rode more than 1000 km this week.

    Shailender Ahlawat from Delhi was top of the charts. He rode an incredible 1209 km.

    In second place is Mrudul K from Kerala who rode 1079 km in the week.

    Third spot is taken by Anand from Karnataka. He rode 1009 km.

    Leaderboard: Women

    The women’s leaderboard has gotten easier this week. To be in the top 10, you needed to ride 231+ km…

    Meghana Ghatge from Gujarat was top of the charts this week. Riding an incredible 564 km. She is 24th overall.

    Next up is Misha Brar from Chandigarh. Who rode an impressive 511 km. She is 30th overall.

    Third is Vandana Dhavate from Telangana who rode 459 km. She is 42nd overall. She was third last week as well.

    There are 15 women in the top 100 this week, 4 more than last week.

    Leaderboard: Longest Ride

    3 rode 1000s this week.

    Top spot goes to Shailender Ahlawat from Delhi for the longest ride. He did a 1209 km long ride!

    Next up is Anand from Karnataka having done a 1004 km long ride.

    Third is NH Nandu from Karnataka, who did a 1001 km long ride.

    Leaderboard: Fastest

    The top 50 have been riding at a seriously impressive pace.

    Fastest of the lot is Ansh Dhopte from Maharashtra who averaged an incredible 34.7 kmph over the week!

    Second fastest for the week is Ravishankar from Tamil Nadu whose weekly average is a fantastic 34.1 kmph.

    Third is Ikram Mohamed from Tamil Nadu averaging 33.5 kmph over the week.

    Leaderboard: Queen/ King of the Mountain

    The climbing leaderboard went to Kerala. Again!

    Climber of the week is Mrudul K from Kerala having climbed 9869 metres. He was first last week as well.

    Second is Shailender Ahlawat from Delhi who climbed 9124 metres.

    Third is Anand from Karnataka, who climbed 6700 metres during the week.
