    Week 143 update of the Cycling Monks Strava Group. Week ending 26th February 2023.

    Club Stats. 2737 members collectively rode 112989 km in 3145 rides, climbing 587163 metres in 5239 hours!

    The number of members are up by 13 as compared to last week. The week saw everyone collectively ride more. With total distance, elevation gained, number of rides and time spent on the saddle were all up.

    To be in the top 100, you needed to ride minimum 274 km during the week!

    10 riders averaged more than 100 km a day.

    11 rode 600s and 44 rode at least a 200.

    62 averaged above 30 kmph for the week. 9 climbed more than 4000 metres… Incredible riding by everyone.

    Kudos to all the riders who have been working hard on their saddles…

    Leaderboard: Overall

    Megha Jain from Punjab was top of the charts. She rode an incredible 1044 km.

    In second place is Vanita Sharma from Punjab who rode 1031 km in the week.

    Third spot is taken by Srinath Kareti from Tamil Nadu. He rode 912 km.

    Leaderboard: Women

    The women’s leaderboard has gotten tougher this week. To be in the top 10, you needed to ride 234+ km…

    Megha Jain from Punjab was top of the charts this week. Riding an incredible 1044 km. She is 1st overall.

    Next up is Vanita Sharma from Punjab. Who rode an impressive 1031 km. She is 2nd overall.

    Third is Vandana Dhavate from Telangana who rode 710 km. She is 10th overall.

    There are 14 women in the top 100 this week, 5 more than last week.

    Leaderboard: Longest Ride

    A bunch of long rides coming in from different parts of the country this week.

    Top spot goes to Ani from Telangana for the longest ride. He did a 615 km long ride!

    Next up is Srinath Kareti from Tamil Nadu having done a 613.1 km long ride.

    Third is Vandana Dhavate from Telangana, who did a 613 km long ride.

    Leaderboard: Fastest

    The top 62 have been riding at a seriously impressive pace.

    Fastest of the lot is Sanjeev Ramki from Tamil Nadu who averaged an incredible 36.8 kmph over the week!

    Second fastest for the week is Ansh Dhopte from Maharashtra whose weekly average is a fantastic 36.7 kmph.

    Third is Ravishankar Natesan from Tamil Nadu averaging 35.7 kmph over the week.

    Leaderboard: Queen/ King of the Mountain

    The climbing leaderboard went to the mountains of Himachal Pradesh!

    Climber of the week is Jasprit Paul from Himachal Pradesh having climbed 10588 metres.

    Second is Vanita Sharma from Punjab who climbed 7738 metres.

    Third is Megha Jain from Punjab, who climbed 7347 metres during the week.
