    Week 145 update of the Cycling Monks Strava Group. Week ending 12th March 2023.

    Club Stats. 2760 members collectively rode 118944 km in 3248 rides, climbing 673439 metres in 5614 hours!

    The number of members are up by 14 as compared to last week. The week saw everyone collectively ride more. With total distance, elevation gained, number of rides and time spent on the saddle were all up.

    4 riders averaged more than 100 km a day.

    6 rode 400s and 20 rode at least a 200.

    48 averaged above 30 kmph for the week. 15 climbed more than 4000 metres… Incredible riding by everyone.

    Kudos to all the riders who have been working hard on their saddles…

    Leaderboard: Overall

    4 riders averaged more than 100 km a day!

    Mrudul K from Kerala was top of the charts. He rode an incredible 2222 km.

    In second place is Rupesh Bali from Chandigarh who rode 1002 km in the week.

    Third spot is taken by Moideenkutty VC from Kerala. He rode 833 km.

    Leaderboard: Women

    The women’s leaderboard has gotten tougher this week. To be in the top 10, you needed to ride 235+ km…

    Lavanya Reddy from Telangana was top of the charts this week. Riding an incredible 407 km. She is 33rd overall. She was second last week.

    Next up is Malika Kalra from Chandigarh. Who rode an impressive 374 km. She is 41st overall.

    Third is Hema Dhakad from Madhya Pradesh who rode 345 km. She is 53rd overall.

    There are 12 women in the top 100 this week, 3 more than last week.

    Leaderboard: Longest Ride

    A bunch of long rides coming in from different parts of the country this week.

    Top spot goes to Samad Hanbal from Karnataka for the longest ride. He did a 438 km long ride!

    Next up is Ajai Nair from Kerala having done a 422 km long ride.

    Third is Suresh V from Tamil Nadu, who did a 407 km long ride.

    Leaderboard: Fastest

    The top 48 have been riding at a seriously impressive pace.

    Fastest of the lot is Kabir Rachure from Maharashtra who averaged an incredible 38 kmph over the week!

    Second fastest for the week is Sumant Apte from Maharashtra whose weekly average is a fantastic 36.2 kmph.

    Third is Hemendra Upadhya from Karnataka averaging 35.7 kmph over the week.

    Leaderboard: Queen/ King of the Mountain

    The climbing leaderboard went to the hills of Mizoram!

    Climber of the week is Mrudul K from Kerala having climbed 13354 metres.

    Second is Omar Di Felice from Ladakh who climbed 7895 metres. He was third last week.

    Third is Ajai Nair from Kerala, who climbed 6629 metres during the week.
