    Week 147 update of the Cycling Monks Strava Group. Week ending 26th March 2023.

    Club Stats. 2795 members collectively rode 123418 km in 3429 rides, climbing 674575 metres in 5793 hours!

    The number of members are up by 26 as compared to last week. The week saw everyone collectively ride more. With total distance, elevation gained, number of rides and time spent on the saddle were all up.

    1 rider averaged more than 100 km a day.

    6 rode 600s and 42 rode at least a 200.

    70 averaged above 30 kmph for the week. 13 climbed more than 4000 metres… Incredible riding by everyone.

    Kudos to all the riders who have been working hard on their saddles…

    Leaderboard: Overall

    1 rider averaged more than 100 km a day!

    Rupesh Bali  from Chandigarh was top of the charts. He rode an incredible 939 km. He was first last week as well.

    In second place is Natesh Muthanna from Karnataka who rode 689 km in the week.

    Third spot is taken by SKD from Karnataka. He rode 688 km.

    Leaderboard: Women

    The women’s leaderboard has gotten tougher this week. To be in the top 10, you needed to ride 190+ km…

    Vandana Dhavate from Telangana was top of the charts this week. Riding an incredible 270 km. She is 94th overall.

    Next up is Lena Elizabeth Korah from Kerala. Who rode an impressive 269.5 km. She is 96th overall.

    Third is Swati Sablok from Punjab who rode 266 km. She was third last week as well.

    There are 9 women in the top 100 this week, 1 less than last week.

    Leaderboard: Longest Ride

    A bunch of long rides coming in from different parts of the country this week.

    Top spot goes to Murali I from Karnataka for the longest ride. He did a 605 km long ride!

    Next up is SKD from Karnataka having done a 604 km long ride.

    Third is Prathap Pandian from Tamil Nadu, who did a 603 km long ride.

    Leaderboard: Fastest

    The top 70 have been riding at a seriously impressive pace.

    Fastest of the lot is Mayank Tripathi from Canada who averaged an incredible 37.4 kmph over the week! He was third last week.

    Second fastest for the week is Tenzin Kunchok from Uttar Pradesh whose weekly average is a fantastic 37.3 kmph.

    Third is Yajat Gulati from Delhi averaging 36.6 kmph over the week.

    Leaderboard: Queen/ King of the Mountain

    The climbing leaderboard went to the Western Ghat!

    Climber of the week is Sujith K from Kerala having climbed 8127 metres. He was first last week as well.

    Second is Vivek Deshmukh from Maharashtra who climbed 8000 metres.

    Third is Mathew Tom from Kerala, who climbed 7753 metres during the week.
