    Week 149 update of the Cycling Monks Strava Group. Week ending 9th April 2023.

    Club Stats. 2825 members collectively rode 124086 km in 3528 rides, climbing 707930 metres in 5800 hours!

    The number of members are up by 15 as compared to last week. The week saw everyone collectively ride more. With total distance, elevation gained, number of rides and time spent on the saddle were all up.

    10 riders averaged more than 100 km a day.

    5 rode 1000s and 28 rode at least a 200.

    67 averaged above 30 kmph for the week. 21 climbed more than 4000 metres… Incredible riding by everyone.

    Kudos to all the riders who have been working hard on their saddles…

    Leaderboard: Overall

    10 riders averaged more than 100 km a day!

    Gopikrishnan Kesavan from Tamil Nadu was top of the charts. He rode an incredible 1139 km.

    In second place is Kalees Waran from Tamil Nadu who rode 1121 km in the week.

    Third spot is taken by Siveej Kodapully from Kerala. He rode 1073 km.

    Leaderboard: Women

    The women’s leaderboard has gotten easier this week. To be in the top 10, you needed to ride 191+ km…

    There are 13 women in the top 100 this week, 2 more than last week.

    Meghana Ghatge from Gujarat was top of the charts this week. Riding an incredible 394 km. She is 39th overall.

    Next up is Vandana Dhavate from Telangana. Who rode an impressive 373 km. She is 49th overall. She was first last week.

    Third is Uttara Ramkumar from Telangana who rode 250 km. She is 59th overall.

    Leaderboard: Longest Ride

    A bunch of long rides coming in from Karnataka this week.

    Top spot goes to Siveej Kodapully from Kerala for the longest ride. He did a 1018 km long ride!

    Next up is Agnivesh Patel from Karnataka having done a 1009 km long ride.

    Third is Prathap Pandian from Tamil Nadu, who did a 1007 km long ride.

    Leaderboard: Fastest

    The top 67 have been riding at a seriously impressive pace.

    Fastest of the lot is Mukesh Ayyappan from Tamil Nadu who averaged an incredible 37.9 kmph over the week!

    Second fastest for the week is Tushar Anand from Delhi whose weekly average is a fantastic 37 kmph.

    Third is Kabir Rachure from Maharashtra averaging 36.7 kmph over the week. He was third last week as well.

    Leaderboard: Queen/ King of the Mountain

    The climbing leaderboard went to the Western Ghats!

    Climber of the week is Siveej Kodapully from Kerala having climbed 10630 metres.

    Second is Agnivesh Patel from Karnataka who climbed 9802 metres.

    Third is Jayaprakash Narayan from Karnataka, who climbed 9608 metres during the week.
