    Week 160 update of the Cycling Monks Strava Group. Week ending 25th June 2023.

    Club Stats. 2943 members collectively rode 118529 km in 3154 rides, climbing 657445 metres in 5561 hours!

    The number of members are up by 17 as compared to last week. The week saw everyone collectively ride less. With total distance, elevation gained, number of rides and time spent on the saddle were all down.

    8 riders averaged more than 100 km a day.

    15 rode 600s and 39 rode at least a 200.

    55 averaged above 30 kmph for the week. 19 climbed more than 4000 metres… Incredible riding by everyone.

    Kudos to all the riders who have been working hard on their saddles…

    Leaderboard: Overall

    7 riders averaged more than 100 km a day! RAAM hit…

    Kabir Rachure from Maharashtra was top of the charts. He rode an incredible 1472 km. He was racing across America!

    In second place is Gopaal Agaarwal from Uttar Pradesh who rode 1177 km in the week. He was first last week.

    Third spot is taken by MSK Sreenivasan from Tamil Nadu. He rode 859 km.

    Leaderboard: Women

    The women’s leaderboard has gotten easier this week. To be in the top 10, you needed to ride 180+ km…

    There are 10 women in the top 100 this week, 1 less than last week.

    Gareema Shankar from Delhi was top of the charts this week. Riding an incredible 695 km. She is 10th overall.

    Next up is Vandana Dhavate from Telangana. Who rode an impressive 414 km. She is 46th overall. She was first last weekend.

    Third is Sophia NJ from Kerala who rode 332 km. She is 71st overall.

    Leaderboard: Longest Ride

    A slew of 600 rides coming in from Tamil Nadu this week.

    Top spot goes to Aariyan Sree from Tamil Nadu for the longest ride. He did a 649 km long ride!

    Next up is Naina Mohamad from Tamil Nadu having done a 636 km long ride.

    Third is J Gopinath from Andaman & Nicobar, who did a 622 km long ride.

    Leaderboard: Fastest

    The top 5 have been riding at a seriously impressive pace.

    Fastest of the lot is Raj Kumar from Tamil Nadu who averaged an incredible 37.4 kmph over the week!

    Second fastest for the week is Mukesh Ayyappan from Tamil Nadu whose weekly average is a fantastic 36.2 kmph.

    Third is Aravindh Panneerchelvam from Tamil Nadu averaging 36.1 kmph over the week.

    Leaderboard: Queen/ King of the Mountain

    The climbing leaderboard went to the Western Ghats!

    Climber of the week is Gopinath Kattaian from Tamil Nadu having climbed 15115 metres.

    Second is Kabir Rachure from Maharashtra who climbed 14928 metres.

    Third is RJ Mesak from Mizoram, who climbed 13414 metres during the week. He was second last week.
