    Week 164 update of the Cycling Monks Strava Group. Week ending 23rd July 2023.

    Club Stats. 2990 members collectively rode 126018 km in 3101 rides, climbing 650525 metres in 5835 hours!

    The number of members are up by 12 as compared to last week. The week saw everyone collectively ride more. With total distance, elevation gained, number of rides and time spent on the saddle were all up.

    14 riders averaged more than 100 km a day.

    35 rode 400s and 70 rode at least a 200.

    67 averaged above 30 kmph for the week. 16 climbed more than 4000 metres… Incredible riding by everyone.

    Kudos to all the riders who have been working hard on their saddles…

    Leaderboard: Overall

    14 riders averaged more than 100 km a day!

    KSK Senthil from Tamil Nadu was top of the charts. He rode an incredible 1057 km.

    In second place is Rupesh Bali from Chandigarh who rode 1017 km in the week.

    Third spot is taken by Subu Narayanan from Tamil Nadu. He rode 888 km.

    Leaderboard: Women

    The women’s leaderboard has gotten tougher this week. To be in the top 10, you needed to ride 258+ km…

    There are 8 women in the top 100 this week, 1 less than last week.

    Pradnya Bhadagar from Maharashtra was top of the charts this week. Riding an incredible 567 km. She is 21st overall.

    Next up is Miruthula Gopu from Tamil Nadu. Who rode an impressive 485 km. She is 39th overall. She was second last week as well.

    Third is Megha Jain from Punjab who rode 404 km. She is 67th overall.

    Leaderboard: Longest Ride

    400s galore from across the country.

    Top spot goes to Krishnan TP from Tamil Nadu for the longest ride. He did a 408 km long ride!

    Next up is Raghav Kharche from Maharashtra having done a 407.5 km long ride.

    Third is Siddharth Ranjana from Maharashtra, who did a 407.5 km long ride.

    Leaderboard: Fastest

    The top 67 have been riding at a seriously impressive pace.

    Fastest of the lot is Tijan Wilson from Uttar Pradesh who averaged an incredible 38.2 kmph over the week!

    Second fastest for the week is Ashwin Govindasamy from Tamil Nadu whose weekly average is a fantastic 37.6 kmph.

    Third is Aashish Massy from Uttar Pradesh averaging 36.6 kmph over the week.

    Leaderboard: Queen/ King of the Mountain

    The climbing leaderboard went to the Western Ghats!

    Climber of the week is Santosh Bijur from Maharashtra having climbed 6425 metres.

    Second is John K Sunny from Kerala who climbed 5626 metres.

    Third is Rajiv J from Karnataka, who climbed 5573 metres during the week.
