    Week 166 update of the Cycling Monks Strava Group. Week ending 6th August 2023.

    Club Stats. 3025 members collectively rode 118983 km in 3308 rides, climbing 594065 metres in 5526 hours!

    The number of members are up by 18 as compared to last week. The week saw everyone collectively ride more. With total distance, elevation gained, number of rides and time spent on the saddle were all up.

    5 riders averaged more than 100 km a day.

    5 rode 400s and 30 rode at least a 200.

    76 averaged above 30 kmph for the week. 6 climbed more than 4000 metres… Incredible riding by everyone.

    Kudos to all the riders who have been working hard on their saddles…

    Leaderboard: Overall

    5 riders averaged more than 100 km a day!

    Nishant Gupta from Maharashtra was top of the charts. He rode an incredible 1556 km.

    In second place is KSK Senthil from Tamil Nadu who rode 1063 km in the week.

    Third spot is taken by Subu N from Tamil Nadu. He rode 928 km.

    Leaderboard: Women

    The women’s leaderboard has gotten tougher this week. To be in the top 10, you needed to ride 242+ km…

    There are 13 women in the top 100 this week, same as last week.

    Kamala R from Karnataka was top of the charts this week. Riding an incredible 560 km. She is 13th overall.

    Next up is Rekha S from Telangana. Who rode an impressive 538 km. She is 15th overall. She was third last week.

    Third is Malika Kalra from Chandigarh who rode 506 km. She is 18th overall.

    Leaderboard: Longest Ride

    400s from across the country.

    Top spot goes to Jai from UAE for the longest ride. He did a 499 km long ride!

    Next up is Tushar Doke from Maharashtra having done a 420 km long ride.

    Third is Ajinkya Chaskar from Maharashtra, who did a 408 km long ride.

    Leaderboard: Fastest

    The top 76 have been riding at a seriously impressive pace.

    Fastest of the lot is Tijan Wilson from Uttar Pradesh who averaged an incredible 36.7 kmph over the week!

    Second fastest for the week is Ashwin Govindasamy from Tamil Nadu whose weekly average is a fantastic 35.4 kmph. He was first last week.

    Third is Tenzin Kunchok from Uttar Pradesh averaging 35.4 kmph over the week.

    Leaderboard: Queen/ King of the Mountain

    The climbing leaderboard went to the Himalayas. Again!

    Climber of the week is Jasprit Paul from Himachal Pradesh having climbed 9324 metres.

    Second is Nishant Gupta from Maharashtra who climbed 5604 metres.

    Third is Pavan Madhusudan from Karnataka, who climbed 4684 metres during the week.
