    Week 192 update of the Cycling Monks Strava Group. Week ending 4th February 2024.

    Club Stats. 3212 members collectively rode 102581 km in 2905 rides, climbing 511869 metres in 4668 hours!

    The number of members are up by 4 as compared to last week. The week saw everyone collectively ride less. With total distance, elevation gained, number of rides and time spent on the saddle were all down.

    3 riders averaged more than 100 km a day.

    1 rode a 400 and 15 rode at least a 200.

    63 averaged above 30 kmph for the week.

    6 climbed more than 4000 metres.

    Incredible riding by everyone.

    Kudos to all the riders who have been working hard on their saddles…

    3 riders averaged more than 100 km a day!

    Shun Athi from Tamil Nadu was top of the charts. He rode an incredible 917 km.

    In second place is Arun Kumarasamy from Tamil Nadu who rode 798 km in the week.

    Third spot is taken by Rupesh Bali from Chandigarh. He rode 744 km.

    Leaderboard: Women

    The women’s leaderboard has gotten easier this week. To be in the top 10, you needed to ride 177+ km…

    There are 15 women in the top 100 this week, 1 more than last week.

    Rekha Solanki from Telangana was top of the charts this week. Riding an incredible 501 km. She is 10th overall.

    Next up is Yogini Karpe from Maharashtra. Who rode an impressive 396 km. She is 30th overall.

    Third is Anumitha Solvyn from Kerala who rode 289 km. She is 75th overall.

    Leaderboard: Longest Ride

    A few long rides this week from around the country!

    Top spot goes to Chaitanya Phadke from Haryana for the longest ride. He did a 420 km long ride!

    Next up is Aakash from Kerala having done a 305 km long ride.

    Third is Monu Yadav from Telangana, who did a 303 km long ride.

    Leaderboard: Fastest

    The top 63 have been riding at a seriously impressive pace.

    Fastest of the lot is Abhishek Choudhary from Rajasthan who averaged an incredible 36.2 kmph over the week!

    Second fastest for the week is Smaran Bhat from Uttarakhand whose weekly average is a fantastic 36.1 kmph.

    Third is Anirudh Chadha from Delhi averaging 35.6 kmph over the week.

    Leaderboard: Queen/ King of the Mountain

    The climbing leaderboard went to the Western Ghats!

    Climber of the week is Vivek Deshmukh from Maharashtra having climbed 7159 metres.

    Second is John K Sunny from Kerala who climbed 6360 metres.

    Third is Arnav Vakharia from Maharashtra, who climbed 5479 metres during the week.
