    Week 230 update of the Cycling Monks Strava Group. Week ending 27th October 2024.

    Club Stats. 3506 members collectively rode 120674 km in 3139 rides, climbing 610593 metres in 5503 hours!

    The number of members are up by 2 as compared to last week. The week saw everyone collectively ride more. With total distance, elevation gained, number of rides and time spent on the saddle were all up.

    6 riders averaged more than 100 km a day.

    3 rode 600s. 36 rode at least a 200.

    73 averaged above 30 kmph for the week.

    11 climbed more than 4000 metres.

    Incredible riding by everyone.

    Kudos to all the riders who have been working hard on their saddles…

    Leaderboard: Overall

    6 riders averaged more than 100 km a day!

    Gajendra Dutta from Uttar Pradesh was top of the charts. He rode an incredible 943 km. He was second last week.

    In second place is Aakash from Telangana who rode 855 km in the week.

    Third spot is taken by Rupesh Bali from Chandigarh. He rode 754 km.

    Leaderboard: Women

    The women’s leaderboard has got tougher this week. To be in the top 10, you needed to ride 194+ km…
    There are 12 women in the top 100 this week, same as last week.

    Chaitra Bhagavan from Goa was top of the charts this week. Riding an incredible 710 km. She is 6th overall.

    Next up is Gareema Shankar from Delhi. Who rode an impressive 622 km. She is 12th overall.

    Third is Neha Tarnacha from Telangana who rode 599 km. She is 16th overall.

    Leaderboard: Longest Ride

    Rides this week coming in from Tamil Nadu!

    Top spot goes to Mohit Handa from Delhi for the longest ride. He did a 609 km long ride!

    Next up is Aakash from Telangana having done a 605 km long ride.

    Third is Dharmesh Balar from Gujarat, who did a 602 km long ride.

    Leaderboard: Fastest

    The top 77 have been riding at a seriously impressive pace.

    Fastest of the lot is Yogesh Saini from Haryana who averaged an incredible 39.1 kmph over the week!

    Second fastest for the week is Synclair Dsouza from Maharashtra whose weekly average is a fantastic 38.4 kmph.

    Third is Tarun Yadav from Delhi averaging 37.5 kmph over the week.

    Leaderboard: Queen/ King of the Mountain

    The climbing leaderboard went to the hills of Meghalaya!

    Climber of the week is DPK Freeman from Assam having climbed 8000 metres.

    Second is Saurabh Negi from Uttarakhand who climbed 6573 metres.

    Third is Dka from Mizoram, who climbed 6336 metres during the week.
