    Week 233 update of the Cycling Monks Strava Group. Week ending 17th November 2024.

    Club Stats. 3520 members collectively rode 114253 km in 3021 rides, climbing 627905 metres in 5266 hours!

    The number of members are up by 3 as compared to last week. The week saw everyone collectively ride less. With total distance, elevation gained, number of rides and time spent on the saddle were all down.

    10 riders averaged more than 100 km a day.

    3 rode 1000s. 38 rode at least a 200.

    72 averaged above 30 kmph for the week.

    12 climbed more than 4000 metres.

    Incredible riding by everyone.

    Kudos to all the riders who have been working hard on their saddles…

    Leaderboard: Overall

    10 riders averaged more than 100 km a day!

    Gajendra Dutta Mishra from Uttar Pradesh was top of the charts. He rode an incredible 1259 km. He was third last week.

    In second place is Adhil Muhammed from Kerala who rode 1044 km in the week.

    Third spot is taken by Naveen Joseph from Karnataka. He rode 1014 km.

    Leaderboard: Women

    The women’s leaderboard has got easier this week. To be in the top 10, you needed to ride 193+ km…
    There are 10 women in the top 100 this week, same as last week.

    Neha Tarnacha from Telangana was top of the charts this week. Riding an incredible 490 km. She is 25th overall.

    Next up is Malika Kalra from Chandigarh. Who rode an impressive 415 km. She is 36th overall.

    Third is Neha Tikam from Maharashtra who rode 382 km. She is 48th overall.

    Leaderboard: Longest Ride

    Rides this week coming in from around India!

    Top spot goes to Naveen Joseph from Karnataka for the longest ride. He did a 1014 km long ride!

    Next up is Ganesh R from Karnataka having done a 1014 km long ride.

    Third is Adhil Muhammed from Kerala, who did a 1005 km long ride.

    Leaderboard: Fastest

    The top 59 have been riding at a seriously impressive pace.

    Fastest of the lot is Sangam Pattnaik from Chandigarh who averaged an incredible 35.8 kmph over the week!

    Second fastest for the week is Sanjay Chobdar from Haryana whose weekly average is a fantastic 35.5 kmph.

    Third is Sanjeev Ramki from Tamil Nadu averaging 35.3 kmph over the week.

    Leaderboard: Queen/ King of the Mountain

    The climbing leaderboard went to the hills of Kerala!

    Climber of the week is Rajan Jain from Punjab having climbed 7868 metres.

    Second is Aby Kurian from Kerala who climbed 5965 metres.

    Third is Vivek Deshmukh from Maharashtra, who climbed 5351 metres during the week.
