    Week 236 update of the Cycling Monks Strava Group. Week ending 8th December 2024.

    Club Stats. 3539 members collectively rode 117100 km in 2989 rides, climbing 621753 metres in 5518 hours!

    The number of members are up by 2 as compared to last week. The week saw everyone collectively ride the same. With total distance, elevation gained, number of rides and time spent on the saddle were all unchanged.

    12 riders averaged more than 100 km a day.

    2 rode 1200s. 61 rode at least a 200.

    57 averaged above 30 kmph for the week.

    32 climbed more than 4000 metres.

    Incredible riding by everyone.

    Kudos to all the riders who have been working hard on their saddles…

    Leaderboard: Overall

    12 riders averaged more than 100 km a day!

    Rohit Wagh from Maharashtra was top of the charts. He rode an incredible 1209 km.

    In second place is Madhu Mandanna from Karnataka who rode 1206 km in the week.

    Third spot is taken by Dharmesh Balar from Gujarat. He rode 1202 km.

    Leaderboard: Women

    The women’s leaderboard has got easier this week. To be in the top 10, you needed to ride 193+ km…
    There are 11 women in the top 100 this week, 2 less than last week.

    Neha Tarnacha from Telangana was top of the charts this week. Riding an incredible 690 km. She is 9th overall.

    Next up is Gungeet Kaur from Punjab. Who rode an impressive 593 km. She is 24th overall. She was second last week as well.

    Third is Vandana Dhavate from Telangana who rode 523 km. She is 33rd overall.

    Leaderboard: Longest Ride

    Rides this week coming in from around India!

    Top spot goes to Madhu Mandhana from Karnataka for the longest ride. He did a 1206 km long ride!

    Next up is Dharmesh Balar from Gujarat having done a 1202 km long ride.

    Third is Rohit Wagh from Maharashtra, who did a 1180 km long ride.

    Leaderboard: Fastest

    The top 57 have been riding at a seriously impressive pace.

    Fastest of the lot is Yogesh Saini from Haryana who averaged an incredible 39.8 kmph over the week!

    Second fastest for the week is Kavi Mahajan from Haryana whose weekly average is a fantastic 36.6 kmph.

    Third is Kabir Rachure from Maharashtra averaging 35.9 kmph over the week.

    Leaderboard: Queen/ King of the Mountain

    The climbing leaderboard went to the Western Ghats!

    Climber of the week is Dharmesh Balar from Gujarat having climbed 10822 metres.

    Second is Madhu Mandanna from Karnataka who climbed 10260 metres.

    Third is Rohit Wagh from Maharashtra, who climbed 9683 metres during the week.
