Below are the cycling results from the National Games held in Uttarakhand.
These results are for the road cycling events held in Rudrapur in Uttarakhand between the 29th to 31st of January 2025.
Individual Road Race Men Results
The Individual Road Race was won by Dinesh Kumar from the SSCB, with his teammate Sahil Kumar finishing second. Aashirwad Saxena from Telangana took the final place on the podium.
A group of 4 had broken away from the peloton at the very start of the race and they held their advantage all the way to the finish line. The peloton finally crossing the line about 3 minutes later.
Individual Time Trial Women
The Women’s Individual Time Trial was won by Pooja Baban Danole from Maharashtra. She completed the 30 km course in 45 minutes and 33.3 seconds, averaging 39.51 kmph.
Fifteen seconds behind was Monika Jat from Rajasthan riding at 39.30 kmph.
The final place on the podium was taken up by Megha Gogad from Karnataka, averaging 39.22 kmph, who was another 5 seconds slower.
Men’s Elite Individual Time Trial
39-year-old Naveen John from Karnataka once again stamped his authority on Indian road cycling by comprehensively winning on the 40 km course. He clocked in a time of 52 minutes and 16.335 seconds, averaging 45.91 kmph.
Second place was grabbed by Dinesh Kumar from SSCB averaging 45.66 kmph. He was 17 second further adrift.
The final spot on the podium was occupied by Harshveer Singh Sekhon from Punjab as he was 40 seconds behind second place averaging 45.13 kmph.
