Look has officially pulled the curtain back on its latest flagship road machine, the 795 Blade RS 3. Marking the third generation of the French carbon specialist’s premier race family. The new bike, as per the manufacturer, moves away from spec-sheet victories to focus squarely on real-world speed, handling, and unprecedented rider fit.

The pro peloton has already quietly been validating the bike’s pedigree. Ridden under the radar by Team Cofidis for several months, the Look 795 Blade RS 3 has already secured victories at the Itzulia Basque Country and the Tour of Belgium.

      Real-World Aerodynamics and Lightweight Engineering

Look has heavily overhauled the frame profiles using a new UD UHM (Ultra High Modulus) carbon fibre layup. The design heavily relied on Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and velodrome testing, focusing strictly on high yaw angles. Look’s research indicates that real-world wind rarely blows at a perfect zero degrees. Riders spending the majority of their time navigating crosswinds between -6 and -12 degrees.

By optimizing for these true-to-life conditions, Look claims a 15-watt drag reduction for the complete bike-and-rider system at 50kph compared to its predecessor.

The aerodynamic overhaul hasn’t come at the cost of weight. The medium frame drops 160g down to a svelte 890g, while the new fork sheds 50g to weigh just 340g. This allows complete builds to hit a highly competitive 6.9kg (Size M, without pedals). Furthermore, Look engineered vibration-damping flex into the seatstays and fork legs. It has also boosted stiffness at the bottom bracket and front end by 10% over the WorldTour average.

Modern versatility is also heavily accounted for, featuring a Universal Derailleur Hanger (UDH) and a generous 34mm tyre clearance both front and rear.

      The 350-Fit Philosophy

Recognizing that an aerodynamic bike is useless if a rider cannot comfortably hold an aero position. The brand introduced the new Aero Carbon RS 3 handlebar. Built to maximize stiffness during sprints and open the chest during climbs, the cockpit plays a vital role in Look’s massive focus on ergonomics.

By offering six frame sizes with overlapping geometries, three size-specific fork offsets, seven stem lengths (80 to 140mm), and two seatpost offset options on the new Aeropost 5, Look boasts more than 350 potential fit configurations. This ensures everyone from aggressive sprinters to endurance riders can find their optimal position.

“We did not design it to win a comparison table,” said Look CEO Federico Musi. “We designed it to win on the road and to stand as the ultimate long-term partner for our riders.”

      Build Options, Customization, and Pricing

The 795 Blade RS 3 is built to last, exceeding ISO 4210 safety standards by up to 160% in impact testing. The bike comes backed by a lifetime warranty.

Available in four finishes—including the Piet Mondrian-inspired “Iconic Prisme”—the bike can be customized via the ‘Your LOOK à la Carte’ online configurator.
