    Week 26 Update of the Cycling Monks Strava Group. Week ending 29th November 2020.

    Club Stats. 612 members collectively rode 55968 km in 1445 rides, climbing 272448 metres in 2656 hours!

    The number of members are up by 15 as compared to last week. The week saw everyone collectively ride significantly more, with number of rides up, while total distance, elevation gained and time spent on the saddle is down.

    To be in the top 100, you needed to ride minimum 200 km during the week!

    There were 2 riders who rode more than 1000 km in the week and 4 who rode more than 100 a day!

    4 people did 300+ km rides. 18 people did at least 200 km rides. 73 riders rode at least a century!

    3 who averaged above 30 kmph for the week. 3 who climbed more than 3000 metres… Incredible riding by everyone.

    Kudos to all the riders who have been working hard on their saddles…

    Leaderboard: Overall

    The top 2 rode more than 1000 km in the week. Crazy!

    Rakesh Kumar Pawan from Bihar was top of the charts. He rode a mind boggling 1919 km. He was first last week as well.

    In second place is Nishant Gupta from Maharashtra who rode 1462 km in the week. He was third last week.

    Third spot is taken by Sukhwinder Singh from Punjab. He rode 820 km.

    Leaderboard: Women

    The women’s leaderboard is getting more competitive every week.

    Tara Jayaraman from Karnataka was top of the charts this week. Riding a massive 325 km. She is 37th overall.

    Next up is Sneha Narayanan from Maharashtra. Who rode an impressive 275 km. She is 54th overall.

    Third is Urmi Das from West Bengal who rode 272 km. She is 55th overall.

    There are 8 women in the top 100 this week, 3 more than last week.

    Leaderboard: Longest Ride

    The top 10 all did 200+ km rides!

    Top spot goes to Nishant Gupta from Maharashtra for the longest ride. He did a 1003 km long ride!

    Next up is Ranbir Singh Bagga from Telangana having done a 309 km long ride.

    Third is Jagadesh Badiga from Tamil Nadu, who did a 301 km long ride.

    Leaderboard: Fastest

    The top 3 have been riding at a seriously impressive pace.

    Fastest of the lot is Anirudh Rangarajan from Maharashtra who averaged an incredible 35.8 kmph over the week!

    Second fastest for the week is Shun Athi from Tamil Nadu whose weekly average is an incredible 35 kmph.

    Third is Devank Bhatia from Haryana averaging 31.8 kmph over the week.

    Leaderboard: King/ Queen of the Mountain

    Climber of the week is Nishant Gupta from Maharashtra having climbed 5049 metres.

    Second is Sagar Shirbhate from Maharashtra who climbed 4298 metres.

    Third is Sukhwinder Singh from Punjab, who climbed 3337 metres during the week.
