CFI Announces Cross Country Eliminator Race in Bengaluru this September!

      The Cycling Federation of India (CFI) has announced inking a Memorandum of Understanding to host a Cross Country Eliminator (XCE) Race in Bengaluru in September 2024.

      The CFI signed the MoU with ‘City Mountain Bike’ and Edify Sports. City Mountain Bike is a global brand and organiser of the XCE format of races in various cities of the world.

      Mountain biking normally happens on trails and far away from the eyes of the general public. The idea in this case is to bring the races to the heart of the city, by holding it in the middle of town for non-cyclists to view and enjoy.

      The racing is short and explosive. Previously an Indian edition of this race was held in Leh.

      Edify Sports is an Indian sports management organiser which has hosted multiple cycling events around the country.
