Week 71 update of the Cycling Monks Strava Group. Week ending 10th October 2021.
Club Stats. 1430 members collectively rode 80291 km in 2365 rides, climbing 427301 metres in 3788 hours!
The number of members are up by 17 as compared to last week. The week saw everyone collectively ride less. With total distance, elevation gained and time spent on the saddle were all down.
To be in the top 100, you needed to ride minimum 240 km during the week!
There were 4 who averaged more than 100 km a day!
5 rode 600s, 16 rode a 200 and 86 rode at least a century!
44 averaged above 30 kmph for the week. 15 climbed more than 4000 metres… Incredible riding by everyone.

Club Stats. 1575 members collectively rode 97123 km in 2503 rides, climbing 438366 metres in 4402 hours!
The number of members are up by 15 as compared to last week. The week saw everyone collectively ride more. With total distance, elevation gained, number of rides and time spent on the saddle were all up.
To be in the top 100, you needed to ride minimum 276 km during the week!
There were 9 who averaged more than 100 km a day!
2 rode a 1000, 14 rode at least a quadruple century and 32 rode at least a 200.
46 averaged above 30 kmph for the week. 12 climbed more than 4000 metres… Incredible riding by everyone.
Kudos to all the riders who have been working hard on their saddles…

FB Vaibhav from Delhi was top of the charts. He rode an incredible 1171 km.
In second place is Sankara Sadasivam from Karnataka who rode 1056 km in the week.
Third spot is taken by Anurag Singh from Madhya Pradesh. He rode 1026 km.

The women’s leaderboard was lacklustre. To be in the top 10, you needed to ride just 137+ km…
Naazia Farhein from Tamil Nadu was top of the charts this week. Riding an incredible 432 km. She is 40th overall. She was top lady last week as well.
Next up is Damanpreet Kaur from Punjab. Who rode an impressive 262 km.
Third is Sanjana Sudhir from Kerala who rode 229 km. She was 3rd last week as well.
There is 1 woman in the top 100 this week, 7 less than last week.
Leaderboard: Longest Ride
Long rides once again are LONG! Two massive rides by the top 2.
Top spot goes to Anurag Singh from Madhya Pradesh for the longest ride. He did a 1026 km long ride!
Next up is Sankara Sadasivam from Karnataka having done a 1011 km long ride.
Third is Aakash G from Tamil Nadu, who did a 427 km long ride.

The top 46 have been riding at a seriously impressive pace.
Fastest of the lot is Hemings from Karnataka who averaged an incredible 38.1 kmph over the week! He was fastest last week as well.
